Why Finhaven

Learning That Respects Your Time

We approach financial education the way skilled weavers approach their craft — with patience, structure, and attention to what actually matters to you.

Malaysia-Specific Curriculum

Every session is built around Malaysian financial products, local regulations, and the real spending patterns of households in this country. No generic templates from elsewhere.

Small, Supported Groups

Sessions are kept to manageable group sizes so facilitators can address the specific concerns each participant brings. You are not lost in a crowd.

Materials You Keep

Workbooks, calculators, and reference guides accompany every programme. These are yours to use long after the sessions conclude.

Open Conversation Style

Sessions encourage questions and honest discussion. Facilitators do not push any particular product or provider — the focus is on your understanding.

Step-by-Step Structure

Concepts are introduced progressively, with each session building on the last. Nothing is assumed — everyone starts from wherever they currently are.

Evening & Weekend Options

Programmes are scheduled with working adults and families in mind. Most sessions run in the evenings or on Saturdays to fit around daily commitments.

Would a Conversation Help?

If you are considering a programme but unsure which one suits your situation, we are happy to talk through it. Send us a message or call — there is no pressure, only a conversation.

Common Questions

Things People Often Ask

Answers to questions we hear most often. If yours is not here, please reach out directly.

Who are these programmes designed for?
Finhaven programmes are for adults who want to understand their personal finances more clearly — whether you are starting a family, thinking about buying a home, or simply finding that your current approach to money feels uncertain. No financial background is required or expected.
Do sessions take place in person or online?
Current programmes run in person at our Kuala Lumpur centre on Jalan Datuk Keramat. We find face-to-face sessions more effective for the kind of open, practical conversations these topics require. Enquire with us if you have specific scheduling needs.
How large are the programme groups?
We limit groups to keep the learning experience personal. This means facilitators have enough time to address individual questions and tailor examples to the participants in the room. You will not be sitting through a lecture designed for someone else's circumstances.
Is any prior financial knowledge needed?
None at all. Each programme starts from the basics and builds progressively. Facilitators explain terminology as it comes up and welcome questions at any point. The sessions are designed to feel manageable, not overwhelming.
What materials are included with the programme fee?
Each programme includes printed or digital materials specific to that topic — workbooks, templates, calculators, and reference guides. These are yours to keep and refer back to whenever needed. Details for each programme are listed on our Solutions page.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer (local Malaysian banks), DuitNow, and selected e-wallet options. Payment details are provided once your enrolment is confirmed. If you have questions about payment, please contact us directly.
Can I enrol in more than one programme?
Yes. Many participants complete more than one programme over time. If you are considering multiple programmes, feel free to ask us about scheduling — we can sometimes suggest a sequence that makes sense for your situation.
