1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Finhaven website at finhaven.my ("the Website") or by enrolling in any of our financial education programmes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Website and do not proceed with enrolment in our programmes.

2. About Finhaven

Finhaven is a financial education provider based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We offer structured learning programmes designed to improve the financial understanding and decision-making capability of individuals and households. Our services are educational in nature and are delivered by trained facilitators.

3. Programmes and Services

Finhaven currently offers the following programmes:

  • Household Finance Planning — RM 460 per participant
  • Understanding Insurance & Takaful — RM 780 per participant
  • Property Finance Readiness — RM 1,300 per participant

Programme fees, session formats, content, and schedules are subject to change. We will communicate any significant changes to enrolled participants with reasonable notice.

Finhaven reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue a programme at any time. In the event of a cancellation by Finhaven, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of fees paid.

4. Enrolment and Payment

4.1 Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry form on this Website does not constitute enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation from Finhaven.

4.2 Payment

Programme fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). We accept payment via methods communicated to you at the time of enrolment confirmation. Full payment is required prior to the commencement of the programme, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.3 Receipts

An official receipt or confirmation of payment will be provided upon receipt of cleared funds.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by participant

  • More than 7 days before commencement: Full refund of fees paid, less any processing fees.
  • 3 to 7 days before commencement: 50% refund of fees paid.
  • Less than 3 days before commencement: No refund. You may, at our discretion, be offered a transfer to a future programme intake.

5.2 Cancellation by Finhaven

If Finhaven cancels or postpones a programme, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of fees paid or the option to transfer to a rescheduled session.

5.3 Non-attendance

Failure to attend without prior written notice does not entitle you to a refund or session transfer.

5.4 Refund processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days to the original payment method.

6. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to engage with programme sessions respectfully and constructively. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a programme, without refund, if their conduct is disruptive, offensive, or otherwise inconsistent with the learning environment we maintain.

You agree not to record, reproduce, or redistribute any session content, facilitator materials, or participant contributions without prior written consent from Finhaven.

7. Programme Content and Materials

All workbooks, templates, worksheets, and reference guides provided as part of a programme are for your personal use only. They may not be reproduced, distributed, resold, or used commercially without the written permission of Finhaven.

Programme content is developed for general educational purposes and reflects conditions in Malaysia at the time of preparation. It is updated periodically but may not reflect the most current regulations, products, or market conditions at any given time.

8. Educational Disclaimer

The content of all Finhaven programmes, materials, and this Website is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this Website or in our programmes constitutes financial advice, legal advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to purchase any financial product or service.

Finhaven facilitators are educators, not licensed financial advisers. Participants are encouraged to seek independent professional advice before making any financial decisions.

Outcomes from participation in our programmes will vary depending on individual circumstances, effort, and application of the concepts covered.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finhaven shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from:

  • Your use of or reliance on content from our programmes or Website
  • Financial decisions made following participation in a programme
  • Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in programme materials
  • Technical interruptions or inaccessibility of the Website

Our total liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount of fees you have paid for the specific programme to which the claim relates.

10. Use of This Website

You agree to use this Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Website. You must not:

  • Use the Website to transmit unsolicited commercial communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its underlying systems
